It's not a Batman game if the titular hero, again voiced by Kevin Conroy, can't glide all over the place. Note that Wayne Enterprises must be doing alright even in this middlin' economy because Batman's armour has improved since Arkham City. |
Batman's clearly synchronizing his Bat-watch in this scene, featuring a Majora's Mask-sized moon in the background. Expect a plethora of new and improved utility belt accouterments, including a Batarang sensor for recon purposes and the always-important Detective Vision. |
One of the biggest draws of the Batman games (and a general influence for a lot of action games since Arkham Asylum) is the hand-to-hand combat. There's lot of timing and countering involved, but like so much of what Batman: Arkham Knight has in store, there are plenty of improvements, including the ability to temporarily use melee items wrestled away from foes, fling enemies at their comrades, and a new "Fear Takedown," which involves remaining undetected then launching into a slow motion bone-crunching ballet with up to three enemies. It's a little like Line Dancing that way... |
