We've been taking the situation extremely seriously from the start, and have done everything possible to verify how and in what circumstances these compromises are occurring. Despite the claims and theories being made, we have yet to find any situations in which a person's account was not compromised through traditional means of someone else logging into their account through the use of their password. While the authenticator isn't a 100% guarantee of account security, we have yet to investigate a compromise report in which an authenticator was attached beforehand. With that, it's not exactly been a smooth start for the game, and there still appears to be other issues ahead like sorting out their real money auction house, which has also seen its launch delayed some. Hopefully Blizzard will get these problems sorted out soon so players can enjoy their game without all of these hassles.
Oh look, it's a video game blog. In an age rife with YouTube gamers something like this is almost quaint...

So, it looks like the problems just keep on coming for Blizzard's latest installment in their Clicky Mc Loots-a-lot series, as the company is now acknowledging that Diablo III is getting hit by a number of hacking issues. Many players have reported gold, items, and even characters disappearing because of this, and only now has Blizz acknowledged that this is an issue.
